Kile Kennedy to be sponsored by KA Goalkeeping

Kingston City No.1 Kile Kennedy will become the 1st Goalkeeper in Australia to be sponsored by leading UK Independent glove brand KA Goalkeeping which is being imported by Nine One Football boss & Kingston City Head of Goalkeeping Paul Harvey

Kennedy is 28 years old and has experienced playing top level football all over the world. Starting off at the VIS he was playing for Dandenong Thunder and Sunshine George Cross before moving to the US College soccer team Embry Riddle Aeronautical Uni. He was back in Australia in 2011 playing for Bentleigh Greens and then won the State 2 NW Title with Fawkner Blues. He was then offered an opportunity to play professionally overseas in Iceland for 2 years with KF Fiaroabyggoar before returning to Australia and hooking up with Goulburn Valley Suns in 2016 before a mid season switch to Bentleigh Greens again. In 2017 he was snapped up by newly promoted Kingston City in the NPL where he is due to start his 2nd season.

Nine One Football boss Paul Harvey said it was a great 1st signing for KA Goalkeeping in Australia "A goalkeeper has to like the gloves he wears and when I showed my KA Gloves to Kile he loved them straight away, so from their it was easy for me to secure him as KA's 1st sponsored Goalkeeper. Kile is great to work with and amazing trainer and open to new ideas he is for me the pin up boy haha for the small goalkeeper. At only 5ft 10 he was told he was too small to be a goalkeeper but he has played at top level for along time now and has amazing spring which makes a mockery of height. He will also be featuring heavily in the Nine One Videos that will be produced this year so that will help with KA brand exposure."

Kennedy himself is delighted to be hooking with KA Goalkeeping "I really liked the KA Negative cut gloves. They are really comfortable glove, a great cut with extremely good grip and colourway design."

The first shipment of KA Goalkeeping Gloves is due to land in Australia later this week and with gloves selling for just $70 delivered they are a quality glove at an affordable price. To order yours go to the website
