Barnes Heads Nine One Football Coaching Appointments

Nine One Football has announced its Coaching Staff for its launch into the Australian Coaching market and it is headed by one of the Top Strikers in the NPL, Dandenong Thunder's English Import Brandon Barnes.

A specifically designed Nine One Football Program has been created, which integrates Strikers and Goalkeepers together in game realistic practices with small groups, with the initial program being a School Holiday Camp on Oct 2 & 3 at Rowville Secondary College, which will help players get Ready for the upcoming NPL Trial's.

Nine One Football owner Paul Harvey, who will oversee and coach the goalkeepers in the program introduces us to his Coaching Team. "Obviously my background is Goalkeeping so I will head up that department and to assist me I have brought in my No.1 from Box Hill United, Keegan Coulter. To me there are not many better technical goalkeepers around and I'm delighted to have have Keegan work alongside me, as he knows what I'm trying to achieve with coaching a goalkeeper. Next up to design the Session Plans and help guide the problem I have brought in Box Hill Assistant Coach Kogulan Sabaratnam, who to me is one of the best young and in demand coaches going around. His session planning and session delivery are excellent and players can be assured that they will have well thought out game related training sessions to make them better players. The big coup for me is the Striker Head Coach, Brandon Barnes. I didn't know Brandon before setting up Nine One but he was my 1st Choice to have as Striker Coach. There are not many better strikers going around Victoria at the moment and when I pitched the idea to him he was on board straight away and is really excited to get started and help develop some great young strikers in Victoria. Finally to help with the Strength and Conditioning aspect of the coaching program including an integrated warm up I have teamed up with Mick Chiovitti who is Dandenong Thunder Performance Coach. I used to coach Mick at Skye United and have kept in touch ever since and as a goalkeeper and leader in S&C he is excited to get involved with this project as it is close to his heart. So overall I couldn't be more delighted at the Team I have assembled and the Project we are about to embark on."

Nine One Football has plans for expansion over the next 6 months so check out the website www.nineonefootball.com and get in touch with us on 0411 239496 or paul@nineonefootball.com if you either want coaching or want to be a Nine One Football Coach.
